Vacuum powder weighing system is made up of material bin, weighing device, programmable logic controller and other parts. It not only feeds the single material according to the fixed weight but also feed or mix the blended materials with different ingredients. It is widely used in the industries of pharmacy, foodstuff, chemical, battery material, building materials, metallurgy, fodder processing.
To explain how the powder vacuum weighing system work, we take the automatic vacuum weighing system for two materials for example. Material A and material B are stored in two individual material bins. When the vacuum pump is started, the screw discharge valve at the bottom of A material bin is opened and the screw feeder start to work, material A is sucked into the weighing hopper. When the weight of material A reach the set amount, the screw feeder stops and the discharge valve is closed. After this, the screw discharge valve at the bottom of B material bin is opened and the screw feeder start to work, material B is sucked into the weighing hopper. When the weight of material B reach the set amount, the screw feeder stops and the discharge valve is closed. The vacuum pump stops working.
Compared with the traditional powder weighing system, vacuum weighing system has the advantages of shorter process, higher weighing accuracy, higher reliability, more flexible equipment layout and lower plant height. The weighing device can make up a scale of adding or subtracting according to customers’ needs.
